Kindergarten and 4th grade buddies spent time this week together reading and sharing their Thanksgiving wishes! It was a meaningful and joy-filled way to celebrate the season and continue building their friendship.

5th and 2nd grade buddies graphed their favorite foods and then got creative making tasty Pilgrim hats! It was a fun and delicious way to celebrate the season together.

Thank you for all the generous donations to our November service project! This morning we celebrated Thanksgiving Mass and were grateful that Father King was able to give a special blessing over the food collected. Donations were delivered to Feeding South Dakota to support those in need in our community. A special thank you to our 5th graders for counting and helping load the donations — they tallied 418 items, totaling 238 pounds! We are grateful for your continued support and the spirit of service within our school community.

The Hope Squad met and learned an important lesson about trustworthiness and how unkind words or gossip can spread and hurt others. As they passed along glitter, some stuck to their fingers—showing how easily things spread and how a story can change as it moves from person to person. This activity was a powerful reminder of the virtue of charity and our call to speak truth with love, lifting others up rather than tearing them down.

Friday was a wonderful day for raking! Our students came together to Rake a Difference! The weather was beautiful, and the teamwork was inspiring. A big thank you to Mrs. Richard for organizing this event and to all the parents and staff who helped our students complete this meaningful service project!

Preschool 3 and first grade enjoyed reading Turkey Trouble!  In the story, the clever turkey tries to avoid becoming Thanksgiving dinner by disguising himself as different animals—and even as a pizza man!  After reading, students had fun creating their own turkey disguises with stickers and colorful designs. We are so grateful for the time spent with our buddies!
