Our PS5 and 3rd grade buddies put their fine motor skills to work this week as they teamed up to build a wall for Humpty Dumpty!

This week our 2nd and 5th grade buddies teamed up for a special Perseverance Challenge!

Our 3rd and 5th grade students recently wrapped up their work with Junior Achievement. Through these engaging lessons, students explored how businesses operate, the importance of philanthropy, and the many career paths available to them in the future. They enjoyed thinking about their own interests and strengths while making connections to possible future careers. We are grateful for the volunteers and partners who helped make this real-world learning experience possible for our students.

It was a fun and uplifting Hope Week at school! From the encouraging messages shared each morning, to the walk-through tunnel and warm welcome from our student Hope Squad leaders, the week was filled with positivity. Students especially enjoyed the visit from the high school Hope Squad members during lunch. It truly was a great week celebrating encouragement, kindness, and hope.

Our 3rd graders were busy learners today! They practiced evaluating expressions through a fun “sweet treat” scoot activity that kept everyone moving and thinking. Students also worked on their Southeast states and capitals.

✨ Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Josephine Bakhita!
Once enslaved and later freed, St. Josephine’s life is a powerful witness to forgiveness, resilience, and unwavering faith. Through her trust in God, she transformed suffering into hope and became a voice for dignity, freedom, and love.
May her example inspire us to see the worth of every person and to live with compassion and courage. 🙏💙

💪 February’s Virtue: Perseverance 💪
This month at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re celebrating perseverance—the virtue that helps us stay strong, stay focused, and keep going even when things get tough.
Perseverance reminds us that with God’s help, we can face challenges with courage and finish the race set before us. Whether it's in the classroom, on the field, or in our daily lives, we’re encouraging our students to never give up and to trust that God is with them every step of the way.
