The end of the school year means celebrating academic accomplishments! These students worked hard throughout the year to accomplish their reading and writing goals.
We also celebrate our 5th and 6th grade students who participated in Math Olympiads this year. We had 15 students participate in this challenging academic opportunity that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and perseverance in mathematics.

Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who planned, organized, and helped with the 50’s Dance last week! We are grateful for their time and energy to make this a fun and memorable event. It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful way to bring our school community together to celebrate the end of the school year.
We ended the school year by recognizing and celebrating our staff service award recipients. Congratulations to Mrs. Labahn for 5 years of service, Mr. Fink for 10 years of service, and Mrs. Lauer for an incredible 35 years of service!

This week, the PES Sisters visited our 6th grade students for a special mini retreat as they prepare to finish the school year and begin a new chapter. We were then blessed to celebrate our students and their accomplishments during our 6th Grade Recognition Mass. We are proud of the many ways they have grown academically, spiritually, and personally throughout their time at St. Lambert.

Friday was a fantastic field day! A special thank you to Mrs. Richard for organizing and planning such a fun day for our students. We are also incredibly grateful to the parents, grandparents, and family members who volunteered their time to help make the day such a success. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, teamwork, and fun!
Friday’s Field Day was full of superhero fun! Our opening ceremonies kicked off the day with recognition of students who earned fitness awards, followed by some exciting “superhero training” that put both students and staff to the test—challenging their spidey senses and speed.
Kindergarten and 1st grade were so blessed to visit the Washington Pavilion for their field trip this week! It was a day filled with fun, learning, and lots of giggles!
Our preschoolers had a Wonderful Wednesday this week learning all about emergency vehicles! We were excited to welcome visitors including Officer Chernock, our School Resource Officer, along with Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and Emergency Medical Responders. Students learned about the important work these helpers do, explored the tools and equipment they use, and even got a close-up look at their vehicles. It was a fun and engaging experience for our youngest learners!

Third grade students took part in a fun seed search! They selected two types of produce, cut them open, and observed the seeds inside. Students recorded key characteristics of the seeds, including size, color, texture, and even smell. It was a hands-on way to explore and learn more about plant life!
PS3 and 1st grade had a wonderful time last week reading We’re Going on a Nature Hunt! After the story, students created their own binoculars and set off on a nature hunt of their own. They explored signs of spring—observing leaves beginning to grow and listening to the birds. They also took a special moment to stop at the Mary Garden, where they thanked God for the beauty of nature and all He has created by praying a Hail Mary together.
More fun on Terrific Thursday! We are so grateful for the many community organizations who presented and generously shared their time and talents with our students.
Terrific Thursday Creative Sessions were a hit! From planting succulents and crafting, to designing clay pots and creating their own parks, students enjoyed fun and creative sessions filled with hands-on activities.
It was a beautiful day yesterday for Terrific Thursday! Students enjoyed time outdoors participating in activities like disc golf, basketball, and karate, making the most of the sunshine and fresh air.
