This Labor Day, we recognize and celebrate the contributions of workers in our community and beyond. Thank you to all who dedicate their time, talents, and efforts to serving others and building a brighter future.
Our 6th graders built clay models featuring four different types of landforms! Their models helped simulate relief and changes in elevation, bringing their learning about Earth’s surface to life.

Our students took on a summer reading challenge—and they rose to the challenge in a BIG way! Students tracked the number of pages they read throughout the summer, and everyone who reached the goal of 800+ pages earned ice cream! 🎉

This week, the PES Sisters visited our 6th grade students for a special mini retreat as they prepare to finish the school year and begin a new chapter. We were then blessed to celebrate our students and their accomplishments during our 6th Grade Recognition Mass. We are proud of the many ways they have grown academically, spiritually, and personally throughout their time at St. Lambert.

Friday was a fantastic field day! A special thank you to Mrs. Richard for organizing and planning such a fun day for our students. We are also incredibly grateful to the parents, grandparents, and family members who volunteered their time to help make the day such a success. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, teamwork, and fun!
Friday’s Field Day was full of superhero fun! Our opening ceremonies kicked off the day with recognition of students who earned fitness awards, followed by some exciting “superhero training” that put both students and staff to the test—challenging their spidey senses and speed.
Kindergarten and 1st grade were so blessed to visit the Washington Pavilion for their field trip this week! It was a day filled with fun, learning, and lots of giggles!
Our preschoolers had a Wonderful Wednesday this week learning all about emergency vehicles! We were excited to welcome visitors including Officer Chernock, our School Resource Officer, along with Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and Emergency Medical Responders. Students learned about the important work these helpers do, explored the tools and equipment they use, and even got a close-up look at their vehicles. It was a fun and engaging experience for our youngest learners!
