We kicked off Catholic Schools Week this morning by celebrating our amazing families with breakfast served by our Hope Squad! ☕🍩 Thank you to our families for being such a vital part of our school community. ✨
There is No School and Activities, No CSW Mass and No Before or After School Care Program on Friday January 23 due to extreme cold warning.
We are thankful for our community members who volunteer their time to bring Junior Achievement into our classrooms! This week, our 4th graders wrapped up their learning on supply and demand, while 3rd grade explored what it takes to build a city. They decided which businesses are needs and which are wants for their community.
Our PS5 students had fun building structures with toothpicks and marshmallows this week as they learned about different kinds of buildings! Hands-on activities like this help our youngest learners explore creativity and problem-solving.
Last week, our 3rd grade students wrapped up their water and climate science unit by creating their own bottle thermometers, putting their learning into action through hands-on exploration. This week, they jumped right into motion and matter, where students had a blast investigating the many things magnets can do.

Today, our 5th graders had a sweet time creating gingerbread houses—it was truly a treat!
Our 2nd grade students did a fantastic job presenting their Readers Theater performances today!

This week, our orchestra and band students shared their talents in concert performances. It was wonderful to hear how much they have grown in their instrumental skills while enjoying several festive pieces that helped us celebrate the season. We have also enjoyed our 6th Grade Band-its spreading Christmas cheer by playing carols after school on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the month.

Our students did an amazing job at their Christmas concert, Mystery at Christmas Manor. Through song and story, they beautifully shared the true reason and meaning of Christmas.

On this special day, we honor Mary as she appeared to St. Juan Diego with a message of hope, love, and unity. Her devotion reminds us that God draws close to all His children.

5th grade learned about the properties of matter as they separated different mixtures. It was a fun way to learn how physical properties make separation possible!
Last week, the PES Sisters visited our 1st grade students and shared a beautiful Advent lesson about how Jesus gives us His mother. Students learned ways to grow in their love for Mary, created flowers in her honor, and ended with a sweet procession to Mary in the hallway.
