This is the Bob Burns Dakota Bowl XLVIII — and this September, it's bigger than ever.

Nearly five decades ago, a single high school football game in Sioux Falls sparked something that's grown into the Knights' most beloved tradition. Today, it's two full days that include football, camps, music, food, family fun, and community pride; all in support of the schools that make up Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools.

THE WEEKEND

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

4

5:30 PM — Camps Take the Field The next generation of Knights arrives. K–6th grade campers train and play alongside the O'Gorman football and cheer teams, soaking up the spirit that's kept this tradition alive for nearly 50 years. Every camper walks away with a shirt, a game ticket, and memories that stick. Just $45 —register by April 25th to guarantee a t-shirt size. Walk ups welcome!

7:00 PM — Knight Out As the sun sets, the party begins. DJ music, a beer garden, and food turn the evening into a full-blown celebration. Grab a bite, grab a drink, and grab your friends — this is where the weekend really kicks off.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

1:00 PM — Tailgate Time The lots fill up, the grills fire up, and the Kid's Zone opens with inflatables and face painting. Family-friendly fun before the biggest game of the fall.

THE LEGACY

Since 1978. Nearly $4 million raised. Over 4,000 fans, every single year. Legendary coach Bob Burns helped turn one game into a movement — and every ticket you buy keeps it going for all Knights schools.
